Jim Thomason
THERAPIST: Jim Thomason
Jim Started his massage career in 2001 after graduating from Rising Spirit Institute in Atlanta, GA. The school put a strong emphasis on anatomy and physiology and musculoskeletal kinesiology. While attending Rising Spirit Jim received training and certification in Neuromuscular Therapy from the International Academy of Neuromuscular Therapy, a Judith DeLany program based in St. Petersburg, FL. He specializes in therapeutic deep tissue and neuromuscular massage with a focus on pain relief and restoring the body to a place of balance.
While understanding body mechanics and utilizing good massage techniques are essential elements of a great massage knowing possible pathologies and contraindications is just as crucial to getting the results the client needs. Jim continues to take continuing education in massage techniques and healing modalities so he can offer his clients the quality massage they want.
Jim’s private practice started in Atlanta in September 2001 and remained his full-time career until he relocated to Florida in 2015. In Florida Jim was a massage therapist for Baycare and a lead therapist for the S.M.I.L.E. Team, an outreach program that brought massage into hospitals and community events. His new office is in the 1211 1st Ave North building in the Edge District and the heart of Saint Petersburg, FL.
Therapist: Teri Studer
Teri Studer is a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist (MA# 100848) with over 17 years of experience providing skilled, therapeutic bodywork focused on pain relief, nervous system regulation, and whole-body balance. Her work integrates deep tissue and neuromuscular techniques with craniosacral therapy and myofascial release to address both structural and subtle patterns held in the body. Rather than forcing change, Teri works with the body’s natural rhythms—supporting release, improved circulation, and a return to ease and alignment. Each session is approached with careful listening and intention. Teri takes into account how stress, injury, posture, and life experience shape the body over time, allowing her to adapt pressure, pacing, and technique to what the body is ready to receive. This somatic-informed approach helps clients move out of chronic tension and protective holding patterns while supporting deeper relaxation and recovery. Clients often seek out Teri’s work for chronic pain, injury recovery, stress-related tension, and a desire to feel more at home in their body. Her sessions are grounded, intuitive, and results-oriented—supporting not just symptom relief, but lasting change through thoughtful, responsive touch.
